Avengers Endgame theory: NEW theory claims the snap WON'T be undone

Avengers: Endgame dropped a brand new teaser during the Super Bowl on Sunday. The thirty-second spot has led to a wealth of theories popping up. But a brand new theory on Reddit has turned all other ones on their heads…

Will the snap not be undone?

Reddit user Enervata posted a well organised and detailed theory to the website.

In it, they explained Thanos’ snap did not simply wipe half of existence off of Earth.

Instead, they were dusted into an alternate universe, alive and well.

They added: “This alternate universe is the one that Marvel moves forward with in the future.

AVENGERS ENDGAME RELEASE DATE: WHEN IS AVENGERS 4 OUT IN THE UK?

“What if the people who lived at the end of Avengers: Infinity War are actually the ones who get left behind?”

The user goes onto explain how this theory could open up future plots and crossovers.

They wrote a multiverse world: “gives Marvel an easy excuse on how to introduce X-men and Fantastic Four.

“They only exist in the new universe, not the old one.”

MARVEL MOVIES 2019: WHAT MARVEL MOVIES ARE COMING OUT NEXT YEAR?

Not to mention it means the original Avengers don’t have to die to resurrect their friends.

Or, as the user points out, the original universe’s heroes (Captain America, Iron Man, and the rest) may still sacrifice themselves to save both universes.

The user goes on to say: “Stark will save Peter (pseudo-son). Rocket saves Groot (who called him ‘dad’).

“Cap saves Bucky and Falcon. Okoye saves T’Challa.

“Hulk and Widow get to be with each other at the end. Etc.”

AVENGERS ENDGAME CAST: WILL THIS X-MEN STAR APPEAR IN AVENGERS 4?

As tempting as this theory is to believe, there is, as of yet, no proof behind it.

But the Quantum Realm has already paved the way for a clearer multiverse in phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The downside? “It means Loki, Heimdall, and Gamora are really dead and gone for good.”

Unless they were trapped in the soul stone the whole time.

There are still plenty of theories to explore, and likely more teasers to come.

Avengers: Endgame is out in cinemas on April 26, 2019.
