Toy Story 4 NEW trailer: Buzz Lightyear stranded in hilarious teaser from Super Bowl

As debuted at the Super Bowl overnight, the Disney and Pixar promo shows Woody and a returning Bo waiting to rendezvous with Buzz – but he’s in a sticky situation. The iconic toy, voiced by Tim Allen, is trapped as a prize on a fairground game; much to the annoyance of two other toys who are unhappy at him making a play for their “top prize spot”. What follows is a taste of the classic sharp and silly Pixar humour that made the previous films such a hit.

The funny teaser is seemingly the first footage from the actual movie that has been revealed of the central characters.

A brief promo released late last year – showing a spork having an existential crisis – was likely not taken from the actual film.

Tim Allen and Tom Hanks confirmed last week that they have just finished completing their voice work for the animation, which is out this summer.

“Finished my Buzz for Toy Story 4 today and it got emotional,” Allen tweeted.

“Wonderful full body story. You are all going to love the work this incredible team at Pixar created.

“We are all going to love this story….man its got everything.”

He also posted last night: “Best part of Super Bowl was seeing Buzz Lightyear tied to that amusement park wall…

“Believe me Buzz will find a way to get loose. #Toystory4.”

Hanks, meanwhile, shared a photo of himself with the crew.

“Final line, final session as Woody of Toy Story 4. We rode like the wind, to infinity and beyond,” he captioned it.

Both stars have previously teased an incredibly emotional conclusion to the story.

Toy Story 4 is out in June 2019.
