Super Bowl movie trailers 2019: Watch them all – Avengers Endgame, Toy Story 4, more

The likes of Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4 and Hobbs & Shaw debuted footage overnight; with – as per previous speculation – Star Wars: Episode 9 going unseen. Other notable absences included Dumbo and Aladdin; but there were new glimpses of Us, Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, Wonder Park and Alita: Battle Angel. Watch them all below.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME

This is the big, most hotly-anticipated release from the night.

Marvel’s latest TV spot for their all-star blockbuster is very brief, but teases a bit more of the kind of atmosphere Earth has been left with after the disappearance of half its inhabitants at the hands of Thanos.

The surviving characters make more appearances but don’t expect to have any of your biggest questions about the plot answered just yet.

CAPTAIN MARVEL

In this brief 30-second spot, we get a sense for Carol Danvers’ love of going “higher, further, faster”.

“Try to keep up,” she quips.

The movie is out in just a matter of weeks (March 8) and we’ve already had a fair few trailers, teasers and TV ads; but this latest clip certainly ticks the hype up even further.

TOY STORY 4

Woody and Buzz are back in this new glimpse of the eagerly-awaited animation sequel, but not together.

Buzz is stuck being part of a fairground attraction, while Woody is with the returning Bo Peep.

Toy Story 4 is expected to be an emotionally-charged finale to the toys’ tales, with Tim Allen and Tom Hanks only completing their vocal recordings last week.

FAST AND FURIOUS PRESENTS HOBBS & SHAW

This trailer was released in advance, late last week, and already has over 9 million views on YouTube.

It’s gone down incredibly well with fans of the franchise: big, daft, popcorn fun that will likely go down a storm at the box office.

Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham headline the cast, with Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby also on board.

ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL

Alita: Battle Angel has had some rough reviews since critics passed their verdicts last week, but the 3D technology should still make it a big event.

Stars Rosa Salazar, Mahershala Ali and Jennifer Connelly are seen in the new clip, which gives another 38-second glimpse at what to expect.

There’s not long at all to wait for its release: it lands in the UK on February 6, and the US on February 14.

WONDER PARK

A new full trailer for this family-friendly animated treat shows the power of imagination, as a group of kids find themselves in the theme park of their dreams.

This’ll certainly keep kids entertained over the Easter period, with a voice cast that includes Mila Kunis, Jennifer Garner, Kenan Thompson and Matthew Broderick among others.
