Sarah Ferguson, 59, posted a photo on Instagram on Monday afternoon to show her support for those affected by cancer on World Cancer Day. Alongside her daughters Princess Beatrice, 30, and Princess Eugenie, 28, Fergie stood with the founders of Teenage Cancer America for a photo.The Duchess and her daughters posed with their arms around one another for the snap as they smiled at the camera. In the caption the Duchess said she has been a long-term supporter of the charity and its founders, and her daughters are also now supporting the charity.
She wrote in the caption: “On World Cancer Day, I am thinking of friends and family who have been affected by this terrible disease.
“I have been a proud supporter of @teenage_cancer and its founders Dr Adrian and Myrna Whiteson since 1990 and @teencanceramerica and now Beatrice and Eugenie are too.
“Together we can help more people beat cancer.”
Fergie looked as glamorous as always in the picture, wearing a mint coloured jacket over a sheer marching blouse and tailored black trousers.
She wore her hair in a half-up ‘do for the occasion, displaying a large gold pendant around her neck.
Daughters Eugenie and Beatrice stood either side of their mother for the snap, with Beatrice matching her mum in a mint dress which featured a cinched waist and embellished collar.
Meanwhile, Eugenie looked striking in a vibrant red dress with pussybow blouse.
Sarah was soon flooded with supportive comments from fans.
“Thank you for supporting such a worthy cause. My daughter had throat cancer and it caused so much other medical problems for her. She finally beat the disease and it now cancer free,” one person replied.
“What a great initiative your highness and together we are strong,” wrote a second.
A third added: “Thank you Sarah, Beatrice and Eugenie for supporting a great cause and getting the word out.”
“That’s awesome. Great cause to support. Thank you,” replied another.
Sarah Ferguson has had a few weeks since the start of the New Year, keeping her loyal fans updated on her busy schedule.
On Friday last week the ex wife of Prince Andrew attended the annual UNICEF Gala in Dallas, Texas.
Sarah looked extremely glamorous for the ball, styling her auburn locks into big bouncy curls which rested on her shoulders.
She accessorised with a dazzling pair of drop diamond earrings and minimal jewellery.
The Duchess also had glamorous makeup for the gala, opting for smokey eyeshadow and pink lipstick.
