Super Bowl 2019 RECAP: New England Patriots beat LA Rams, Tom Brady wins SIXTH Lombardi

03:25. Well, that’ll be that for us at Express Sport. Thanks for joining us. The lowest-scoring Super Bowl of all time ends with familiar victors in New England.

The greatest sports team in history? Possibly. Brady and Belichick’s Patriots have six Super Bowl triumphs and the Patriots are now the joint-most successful NFL franchise of all-time alongside the Pittsburgh Steelers. What a dynasty.

It wasn’t the most thrilling Super Bowl of all time but it was certainly interesting.

Tina Turner’s Simply The Best plays under the roof of the Mercedes-Benz Arena and that feels like a fitting way to end it before Brady and co. lift the Vince Lombardi trophy once more.

No-one thought they’d be here this year, what about next year? September 5th is the date the 2019 NFL season gets underway. February 2nd 2020 is the next Super Bowl. Get those in your calendars.

But for now, go and get some sleep!

03:15. Brady has won more Super Bowls than any other quarterback in NFL history and finally the post-match interviewer gets a second of his time.

What does he have to say?

He tells CBS Sports: “It was an unbelievable year. We fought through it more so than anything and it ’s unbelievable to win this game.

“They made it tough on evert play and we use kept fighting and finally got a touchdown.

“We’ve been this far and lost which is really tough and we just needed a lot of resolve in the last couple of weeks.

“We won I can’t believe it, Super Bowl champs.

“It doesn’t change anything [about my plans for the future]. I can’t wait to spend some time with my family, my kids and my wife. It’s been a great year.

“I’m so happy for my team-mates. This is a dream come true for all of us.”
