Debbie Dingle actress Charley has been with her fellow Emmerdale cast member Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe, since 2007 after meeting him on the set of the ITV soap.

Last year, Matthew told OK! Magazine they would like to try for baby number three.

“We’re not trying at the moment, but we’d like the age gap to be closer to our youngest and we’d quite like a girl,” he said.

“But we’ll see. My family are all boys and we’ve got two already.”

Matthew and Charley tied the knot at a surprise wedding last year.

The couple invited friends and family to celebrate Charley’s 30th birthday at a castle and shocked guests my marrying at a ceremony at the bash.

Her on-screen father Jeff Hordley, 48, who plays Cain Dingle, walked the brunette beauty down the aisle and she later told the magazine: “I couldn’t not have Jeff as part of my day as he’s my best male friend, so I wanted to make him my bridesman.”

Speaking about springing the wedding on their loved ones, she added: “That moment when we announced what we were doing and seeing everybody’s reaction is the best moment of my life.”

“This was we got to do it totally the way we wanted — it wasn’t traditional, we didn’t have a sit-down meal and there weren’t loads of speeches.”

The Emmerdale couple jetted off on their honeymoon shortly after the wedding.

They were accompanied to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida by their two sons and Matthew’s parents.

“We didn’t have one night out on our own!” she told the publication.

“We don’t get loads of time off from work and, even though we’ve just got married, it was our family holiday too, so it was important we spent that time together as a family.”
