The Voice UK 2019: Winner REVEALED as Tom Jones suffers major blow before live shows?

The Voice UK viewers will tune in to see the fifth week of blind auditions this weekend as another batch of performers will sing for the four coaches.

Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones have been ranking up the contestants on their individual teams and tonight’s episode will see them complete them.

But it seems Sir Tom’s chances of winning the series have been slashed as Jennifer’s contestant Nicole Dennis is proving popular with punters.

According to Coral bookmakers, she is going to win the competition.

The odds of her winning were originally 11-4 but the betting shop has revealed her new odds at 3-1 as The Voice fans continued to back the 25-year-old to go all the way.

Other contestants who have also been tipped to go far in the process is Illiana (4-1 to win), Stefan Mahendra (5-1), Cedric Neal and Sarah Tucker (both 6-1).

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead has said: “It’s been one way traffic in terms of the betting on The Voice 2019 and Nicole is the clear favourite despite being one of the first acts we saw on this series.

“She looks every inch a potential winner and plenty of Coral customers will be cheering her on every Saturday night when the live shows begin, having been backing her since the first week.”

It comes after Sir Tim won last year series with Ruti Olajugbagbe.

Now that the show has allowed groups to audition, could viewers see one of them win instead?

Last Saturday, those watching ITV at home tuned in to see a shock decision made by one of the coaches.

First up in the episode was Eden Kavanagh, and despite a rousing rendition of They Just Keep Moving The Line from TV series Smash, which was originally sung by Megan Hilty, none of the coaches turned their chairs.

Olly was extremely close to pushing his button but decided to hold back instead.

After seeing the reaction from the crowd, will.i.am asked them if the right decision had been made.

“You think somebody should’ve turned for that?” he questioned.

Olly explained: “It’s really difficult. I’m waiting for that moment when someone hits me, you know?”

Nevertheless, with only ten spaces on each team, the coaches have a difficult choice.

As for the future of the show, having originally been on BBC before moving to ITV, Sir Tom addressed the possibility of remaining as a coach.

“As long as the show is as good as it is and people love it, you know, that’s the thing,” Tom explained.

The Voice 2019 returns to ITV tonight at 8pm.
