Super Bowl 2019: Eagles star Jay Ajayi reveals pick for Patriots vs Rams

The New England Patriots take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night in Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta.

It is the Patriots’ fourth appearance in the big game in the last five years.

Last year they were defeated by the Eagles 41-33, and this year many pundits had questioned whether or not that would be their last Super Bowl appearance.

But the Patriots defied the odds by beating the favoured Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game, thanks to their legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

And Ajayi believes that is part of the reason that you can’t bet against the Patriots.

“I’m not sure who’s going to win at this moment,” he admitted.

“I’m pulling for the Rams though because I’ve got all my Dolphins players on there and Todd Gurley is one of my close friends along with some other guys on the Rams team.

“I’m rooting for those guys.

“But the Patriots and Brady are not going to want to lose back-to-back so it’s going be tough to beat Belichick and Brady and to have them lose two back-to-back Super Bowls.

“But I’m rooting for the Rams.”

Ajayi also spoke about how his life has changed since winning the Super Bowl last year.

“I mean, I’m a Super Bowl champion. I can add that to my legacy,” he added.

“I get to meet more people and I’ve experienced a lot more cool things but I’m still the same person.

“It’s just added legacy and I’ll still be chasing to get more.

“It’s not really drastically changed my life but it’s definitely a big thing to have, to be a Super Bowl champion. And now I want to add more Super Bowls to my legacy.”
