The Lego Movie 2 cast and cameos: These are ALL the voice actors in the new Lego Movie 2

The Lego Movie 2 sequel sees the return of some familiar faces, and the introduction of some new ones. The story follows the citizens of Bricksburg as they face a dangerous new threat – LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space. The battle to defeat the enemy and restore harmony to the LEGO universe takes Emmet, Lucy, Batman and the rest of their friends to far away, unexplored worlds that test their courage and creativity.

Who is in the voice cast of The Lego Movie 2?

The central cast includes:

Chris Pratt as Emmet Brickowski, an everyman, construction worker, rookie Master Builder from Bricksburg from the first movie.

In the sequel, Pratt also voices Rex Dangervest, a galaxy-defending archaeologist, cowboy and raptor trainer.

Fans of Pratt’s work will recognise the character as an amalgamation of other roles played by Pratt including Star-Lord from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Owen Grady from Jurassic World, Joshua Faraday from The Magnificent Seven and a reference to the rumour Pratt would play Indiana Jones.

Elizabeth Banks returns as Lucy aka Wyldstyle, a Master Builder.

Tiffany Haddish is new to the story as Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, the shape-shifting alien queen of the Systar System.

Will Arnett voices Bruce Wayne aka Batman, the DC Comics superhero who is a Master Builder.

Arnett previously voiced Batman in The Lego Batman Movie.

Stephanie Beatriz joined the cast as General Sweet Mayhem, an evil intergalactic mini-doll who is a general of the Systar System Army and works under the orders of Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi.

Charlie Day returned as Benny, a Master Builder who is a spaceship-obsessed 1980’s spaceman.

Alison Brie reprised her role as Princess Unikitty, a Master Builder who is a unicorn-horned cat.

Nick Offerman returns as the voice of MetalBeard, a Master Builder who is a large bionic robot pirate.

Jadon Sand as Finn, a young teenager in the real world, whose imagination drives the events happening in the Lego universe.

Brooklynn Prince joined Bianca, Finn’s younger sister, with Maya Rudolph added to the cast as Finn and Bianca’s mother.

Will Ferrell lent his voice to the sequel as Finn and Bianca’s father, who he played in the first movie.

Richard Ayoade voices Ice Cream Cone, a talking ice cream cone who is a citizen of the Systar System.

Channing Tatum voices Superman, with Jonah Hill as Green Lantern, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman (replacing Cobie Smulders from the first movie) and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

Margot Robbie voices Harley Quinn, the Gotham City criminal she plays in Suicide Squad and The Lego Batman movie.

Ike Barinholtz voice Lex Luthor, a DC Comics villain who is a recurring archenemy of Superman.

Ralph Fiennes voices Alfred Pennyworth, the role he voiced in The Lego Batman Movie.

Bruce Willis voices himself in two scenes, one of which is a reference to John McClane from Die Hard.

Ben Schwartz voices Banarnar, a sentient banana peel who is a citizen and jester of the Systar System.

Jimmy O Yang voices Zebe, a lavender and black zebra who is a citizen and the Bus driver of the Systar System.

Noel Fielding voices a sparkly vampire who describes himself as an “attractive and non-threatening teen vampire”, a not-so-subtle reference to the Twilight series.

The Lego Movie 2 is out in UK cinemas on February 8, 2019.
