Melania Trump news: Where is Melania Trump? When will we next see the First Lady?

The US saw a government shutdown this month, which was the longest in the government’s history. The partial shutdown lasted 35 days, following a divide over funding for Donald Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico. During the occurence, which ended on Friday, Melania Trump, 48, is said to have suffered a major set back. It saw the First Lady’s staff temporarily cut from 10 to five, a spokesperson for Melania told the Washington Post.

With the shutdown having come to an end, it’s thought that the funding for the First Lady’s staff will have been restored.

And, days ago, Melania took to Instagram to tell her 2.7 million Instagram her plans for the impending future.

It’s unclear what her next actions will be, however she seems to be set to continue her work in public for her Be Best campaign.

She wrote on Instagram: “Our work in the East wing continues into 2019 with online safety, fighting opioid abuse & supporting the well-being of children everywhere! #BeBest.”

So, where is Melania at the moment?

The mother-of-one appeared to be at the White House in a recent snap, as she was pictured taking a stroll outdoors on a grand covered patio.

Melania made headlines for her style in the snap.

The former model is often admired for her wardrobe choices.

In the photo, the First Lady could be seen sporting a pair of black trousers, which had a tapered fit.

She teamed them with a black roll-neck top, as well as high heels.

The public figure finished her look with a white coat, which she had draped over her shoulders.

And, for her accessories, Melania sported a pair of sunglasses and carried either a clutch bag or folder.

When will Melania Trump be seen next?

Her plans for the near future have not been unveiled to the public.

However, with the government back up and running, fans may see her stepping out very soon indeed.

Yesterday, the White House released a statement announcing additional special guests for the State of the Union Address.

These guests are to be seated with the First Lady, with the event taking place next Tuesday, on February 5 in the US.

However, this will be at around 2am UK time, on Wednesday February 6.
