Emilia Clarke Instagram: 'Bursting!' Game Of Thrones star reveals her 'Brexit distraction’

Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, 32, took to her Instagram account to share a cheeky snap of herself enjoying a cocktail alongside her Last Christmas co-stars. In view of her 18.4 million followers, she uploaded a selfie snap holding the glass to her lips with a caption which read: “Knocking back a martini on the martini shot. Now that’s what I call a @paulfeig movie. “(And a momentary Brexit distraction) @lastchristmasthemovie. You’ve shaken and stirred my heart to bursting. #whistlewhileyouworkbaby.” The blonde beauty was joined by her co-stars from her latest project, Henry Golding, Paul Feig and Emma Thompson as the foursome seemingly appeared in high spirits.

The post gained over 400,0000 likes as fans flocked to comment on Emilia’s Instagram post, as one person quipped: “I’m bringing the shaker with the lid.”

A second person wrote: “You look gorgeous baby girl.”

While a third person added: “I’ll take Brexit over Trump any day.”

Wearing her blonde tresses in loose waves, the actress looked fresh-faced as she sported minimal make-up.

The HBO star rocked a leopard-print coat in the snap, with a purple jumper underneath, as she showed off her tattoos on her fingers whilst holding the cocktail glass.

Emilia will be appearing in her latest movie Last Christmas which is based on the plot of a woman named Kate who works all year-round in a Christmas shop and falls for Tom played by Crazy Rich Asians actor, Henry Golding.

The duo have been pictured filming scenes in Embankment, London in recent weeks.

The romantic film is set to be released in picture houses later this year.

Meanwhile, the actress has opened up on the finale of Game Of Thrones which will return to screens in April.

The blonde beauty admitted the experience had made her “cry like a baby” when shooting the final scenes of the programme.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, she said: “This is it. It’s over and I cried like a baby on the last day. I felt completely lost.

“Ten years is a long time. It’s like losing an actual limb.

“I was 22 – a child – when I first walked on the Game of Thrones set. I grew up with her.”

Emilia has portrayed the mother of dragons for ten years and admitted filming the last scenes had “f**ked me up.”

She told Vanity Fair: “It f**ked me up… Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavour in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is.

“All I guarantee is that it is moving and epic beyond words. I can’t even.

“As a human being, emotionally, it’s a massive thing to be walking away from so just know that every single actor’s come to it and given their everything.”

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres on Sunday, April 14 on HBO and Monday, April 15, on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
