Rachel Riley Twitter: Countdown star reveals why her life is now ’complete’

Rachel Riley, 33, who has appeared on Countdown since 2009, shared a photo with her 623,000 Twitter followers as she posed alongside football legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. She simply captioned the post: “Life complete,” followed by the hashtags: “#Ole,#Ole,#Ole,#Ole.” The beauty beamed at the camera as she sported a red hat and a matching top. She accessorised her look with a pale pink cardigan as she stood beside the football star, Ole.

Fans inundated the star with comments as one fan quipped: “Can we swap lives for one day…preferably on a match day.”

Another person wrote: “I’ve never been more jealous of someone in my life!

“Hope he was as lovely as I imagine him to be.”

A third person commented: “Ole, met a legend tonight.”

Ole is a Norwegian football manager and former player at Manchester United.

He is now the current caretaker manager of the club, following José Mourinho’s departure.

Social media users will know by now, Rachel is a big fan of Man U, as she regularly posts snaps of her visits to the matches.

More recently, she posted a snap to her Instagram account of herself with her dad holding up a United jersey top.

She captioned the snap: My old man, said be a United fan, be a United fan, be a United fan…”.

Meanwhile, Rachel disappointed her co-star Jimmy Carr, 46, on a recent episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

The blonde bombshell, Jimmy and a topless waiter played a cheeky round of spin the bottle during last’s instalment.

Rachel joined the two men at a table as the Countdown clock began to tick.

Jimmy then spun the bottle with it strategically stopping directly at the mathematician to which he replied: “Excellent.”

A less than impressed Rachel queried; “Oh, really?” before spinning the bottle once again.

When the bottle landed on Jimmy, she pulled a face, at which point the presenter closed his eyes and got ready for a kiss.

But Rachel was not going to let that happen as she picked up a small dog to cosy up to the comedian’s lips.

When the 8 Out of 10 Cats star opened his eyes again as the Countdown timer ended, he simply quipped: “Disappointing.”

Countdown airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 2.10pm.
