ORIGINAL: PlayStation Plus subscribers are about to find out the free PS4 games for February 2019.

After what feels like an eternity, Sony is finally ready to reveal the PS Plus lineup for February.

The free PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita games will be announced on Wednesday, January 30 at 4.30pm UK time.

The games will be available to download less than a week later on February 5 at midday.

And this month is a significant one, because it’s the last time PS3 and PlayStation Vita games will be offered as part of the service.

Of course, there’s also a chance that the PlayStation Plus freebies will leak ahead of time. Express Online will update the piece if and when they do.

In the meantime, PS Plus subscribers have been having fun making predictions on Reddit.

A common thread seems to be that Alien Isolation will join the PlayStation Plus lineup in February.

The Witness also seems to be getting some love, especially after appearing on Games with Gold in recent months.

Others believe we might see What Remains of Edith Finch, Mortal Kombat XL, Watch Dogs or Gravity Rush 2.

The Last Guardian gets a mention once or twice, while the Last of Us Remastered or Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection would go down well.

In the meantime, PS Plus subscribers can download the current batch of free PS4 games for January.

Steep and Portal Knights headline the free PlayStation Plus games list for the month of January.

PS3 owners can download Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Amplitude, while Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion and Super Mutant Alien Assault are available on PlayStation Vita.

Due to cross-platform compatibility, Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion is also playable on PS4.

Fingers crossed we get a better PS3 and Vita selection for February.
