Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Missandei star spills all on ‘BITTERSWEET’ finale

athalie plays Missandei who is Daenerys Targaryen’s (played by Emilia Clarke) right-hand woman so it’s likely she will have a big role in Game of Thrones season eight.

A first-look at the new series showed the Mother of Dragons arriving at Winterfell with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Missandei will surely join her in the north.

Many of the characters in the hit HBO series are preparing to go to war with the Night King (Vladimir Furdik), which will no doubt lead to several deaths.

And actress Nathalie has hinted some fans could be left devastated when the final run airs.

Speaking about the series, she spilled: “It’s going to be amazing and better than any series we have had so far.

“It does the final series justice, it is so brilliant.”

The actress added to The Sun: “It’s bittersweet, I think it’s come to its natural end.

“We had such a beautiful time and we have such an amazing cast that has been through so much.”

Could Nathalie’s hint at a “bittersweet” series mean Daenerys could be in big trouble?

Fans already believe one of the major stars will be killed off but will it be the Khaleesi?

Nathalie’s comments come after Arya Stark star Maisie Williams teased who would end up on the Iron Throne.

Speaking at Newcastle University, she spilled: “I think Sansa [Stark, Sophie Turner], because I love Sophie with my own heart.

“And then, selfishly, we’re all related – so maybe I will be [able to get my hands on the throne].”

Arya and Sansa certainly have competition for the throne from Daenerys, who is determined to rule Westeros.

Meanwhile, their half-brother Jon will have a claim on the throne when his true parentage is revealed.

Furthermore, the sisters would have to overthrow Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

The Queen, although hated, has a firm hold on King’s Landing.

But with Arya’s skills she acquired alongside the Faceless Men, would she slay the Queen?

Fortunately for fans they don’t have too long to wait as the series debuts in April.

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
