The Fortnite week 9 challenges are set to go live in the season 7 Battle Pass on Thursday January 31 at 2pm UK time.
And as per usual, thanks to dataminers we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Fortnite week 9 challenges.
The leaked Fortnite week 9 challenges are headlined by the plane timed trials, golden balloons and dance on top Battle Pass tasks.
The leaked Fortnite challenges were revealed in a post online by Twitter user @FortniteGameLAT – who has leaked a number of other recent weekly challenges.
Here is a full list of the leaked Fortnite week 9 challenges:
FORTNITE WEEK 9 LEAKED CHALLENGES
• Stage 1: Dance on a sundial
– Stage 2: Dance on top of an oversized cup of coffee
– Final stage: Dance on top of a giant metal dog head
• Pop 10 golden balloons
• Eliminate opponents at Junk Junction or Retail Row
• Shotgun eliminations
• Stage 1: Land at Retail Row
– Stage 2: Land at Frosty Flights
– Stage 3: Land at Haunted Hills
– Stage 4: Land at Shifty Shafts
– Final stage: Land at Dusty Divot
• Complete timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane
• Use a Sneaky Snowman in different matches
The datamined list of Fortnite challenges are obtained from in-game files, so it invariably turn out to be accurate.
However, occasionally leaked Fortnite challenges can be swapped out or are leaked early.
In addition to the list from @FortniteGameLAT, there is also another leaked challenges list from other dataminers.
The major difference is that that leaked list includes the ‘hit three trash bins with an icepuck’ challenge instead of the golden balloons task.
In the meantime, until the Fortnite week 9 challenges go live Battle Royale players can test their skills against the week 8 challenges.

• Place a Cozy Campfire or Launch Pad in (3) different matches
• Build (250) structures
• Search between a mysterious hatch, a giant rock lady, and a precarious flatbed
FORTNITE WEEK 8 – BATLLE PASS CHALLENGES
• Stage 1: Visit Paradise Palms and Salty Springs in a single match
– Stage 2: Visit Junk Junction and Loot Lake in a single match
– Final Stage: Visit Haunted Hills and Wailing Woods in a single match
• Search (7) Chests in Shifty Shafts or Lonely Lodge
• Deal (100) damage while riding in a vehicle (HARD)
• (3) Explosive Weapon Eliminations
