Ronaldo Juventus hint
Real Madrid star Marcelo’s wife has hinted the defender misses Cristiano Ronaldo following the forward’s move to Juventus back in the summer.
Clarisse Alves told Mundo Deportivo: “Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid farewell was bad for us.
“We used to spend lot of time together. I know his mum very well and I know Georgina [Rodriguez, girlfriend] too.
“She is marvellous. My son is very close friend with Junior, the son of Cristiano Ronaldo.
“His farewell from Madrid left us empty.”
Real Madrid insult aimed
Massimiliano Allegri has been discussing plans to rest Ronaldo, while also aiming an insult at Real Madrid for their form last season.
“In a week, we have three games in a row and when it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s having a great season, when will he rest, I’ll see,” Allegri said.
“I’ll talk to him about it.
“At Madrid, there is more intensity. It is true that the season is much longer.
“In Real, last year, they took a little vacation.
“They started playing in December, when they were 20 points from Barcelona.”
Lionel Messi statement
Liverpool loanee and Hertha Berlin ace Marko Grujic has stated that Ronaldo differs to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi ‘because he has things all worked out.’
The midfielder said: I look up to Ronaldo.
“He’s a great role model for me, because he works obsessively on his development.
“I love to live as professionally as possible and let everything be subordinated to football.
“Messi may be the more talented player, but Ronaldo has worked it all out.”
