Hollyoaks spoilers: Darren Osborne faces DANGER in dark new plot – will it end in tragedy?

Darren (played by Ashley Taylor Dawson) is currently on tenterhooks as the health of his unborn child with Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) is still on the line in Hollyoaks.

Little does Darren know, he has caught the eye of a young schoolgirl on the Channel 4 soap, who is set to develop an obsession on the lothario.

Troublesome Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) has been causing mischief for her classmates and teachers, but viewers will see a softer side to the schoolgirl as she falls for Darren.

The innocent crush begins when Juliet joins Ollie Morgan (Aedan Duckworth) and Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) in writing poems as part of their coursework.

However, as she taunts the love birds, Ollie tells Juliet to leave but not before Darren intervenes after seeing how upset the schoolgirl is and ends up helping the two with their homework.

After seeing how Darren stepped in to make her feel included, Juliet holds back in handing in the poem Darren wrote, which was actually about his step-son Ollie.

This leads Brooke to believe Juliet fancies Ollie and the schoolgirl confronts the troublemaker, but Juliet soon hits back with some harsh words.

Devastated, Brooke runs away, but is later found by Mandy and the pair end up talking about Brooke’s autism and the expectant mother’s baby, who could have spina bifida.

Meanwhile, Juliet finds herself alone with Darren, who has fallen asleep drunk and uses the situation to her advantage.

Juliet poses next to Darren and takes a selfie but makes herself scarce before the drunken dad-to-be wakes up.

The next day at school, Brooke confronts the troublemaker over the comments made about her autism and it’s not long before Ollie get involved.

He lets slip Darren and Mandy could split up if one more thing derails their relationship with Mandy getting involved in the teenager’s argument, giving Juliet the ammunition she needs to put a menacing scheme into action.

Juliet prints off the selfie of her and Darren in a bid to split the couple apart, leaving it under Mandy’s front door.

Unaware of what the teenager has done, Darren gives Juliet a diary for her birthday, to which the schoolgirl is more than pleased with.

However, she also discovers Darren is looking for a new waitress at The Hutch restaurant and soon drags Ollie into helping her with her CV.

Will Juliet get the job and if she’s does, what’s her next plan as she continues to obsess over Darren?

How will Mandy react when she sees the picture and will Darren be able to give her a good enough reason to stay with him if she does find it?

The dark storyline comes after Ollie finally got justice for the sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of Buster Smith (Nathan Sussex).

Although the court case is now over, Ollie is set to face numerous struggles as he tries to put his life back together, including issues in his relationship with Brooke.

Survivors Manchester CEO Duncan Craig revealed to Express.co.uk: “You’ll see those survivor issues being played out which is wonderful because it means people can see that there is always a healing process that’s happening.”

Can the young lad overcome his struggles?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first-look episode at 7pm on E4.
