Galaxy S10 could have one big advantage over the Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Samsung Galaxy S10 is one of the most highly anticipated smartphone launches for the first half of 2019.

The South Korean tech giant are launching their next flagship – the Galaxy S10 – on February 20, which is just a few days before the Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Leaks have already given fans a good idea of what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S10.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is widely expected to boast a virtually bezel-free design with the screen taking up almost the entirety of the device’s front.

The only thing breaking up this illusion is a small pinhole where the front facing camera is expected in one top corner.

This takes up less space on the front of the device than the notch and looks set to be emulated by other Android smartphone makers also.

But the latest leaks that have emerged about the Samsung Galaxy S10 are not about how it looks on the outside, but on the inside.

Regular leaker Ice Universe has taken to Twitter to reveal an interesting tidbit of information about the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.

Ice Universe in a post online claims the S10+ will have a whopping 4100mAh battery.

To put this in perspective, this is significantly bigger than the 3500mAh battery found on the Galaxy S9.

And it’s also bigger than the 4000mAh battery found on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Ice Universe also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S10+ will be 0.7mm thinner than the Galaxy S9+.

With ever evolving designs of smartphones, a thinner handset seems possible.

But to be able to squeeze such a huge battery into a considerably thinner handset would be quite the achievement from the engineers in Seoul.

The S10+ is just one of the devices that Samsung are set to launch in February.

There are rumours that the South Korean smartphone makers could launch either three, four or five S10 models next month.

The cheapest one, rumoured to be called the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, is expected to have a 5.8inch flat screen.

So this cheaper model is rumoured to not boast the curved Infinity Display that Samsung flagships have come to be known by in recent years.

There is then expected to be an S10 model which has a curved display and an S10+ which also has a 6.44inch Infinity Display.

These trio of devices are all rumoured to use 4G connectivity.

However, Samsung are also rumoured to have two 5G versions of the Samsung Galaxy S10 in the works.

Both are expected to feature a huge 6.7inch curved display, with two front facing cameras and four rear cameras.

These devices are also rumoured to have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a ceramic back.
