Avengers Endgame leaks: End credits scene shock revealed? Rumour suggests THIS surprise

A whisper that can be chased back to 4chan – subsequently shared on Reddit – claims to reveal that the Avengers: Endgame end credits sequence will look like. With the film set to bring the current MCU phase to a close, will it set up what’s next? Will it look to something more immediate like Spider-Man: Far From Home? Or will there be a fun coda relating to some element of the movie audiences will have just seen?

According to this alleged leak, the answer is none of the above.

Avengers: Endgame is instead rumoured to breaking protocol altogether and having no end credits scene – either during or after.

Even if this leak is genuine, it seems the decision isn’t set in stone – note how it’s worded: “Endgame may not have a post credits scene”.

But it seems safe to assume that Marvel fans will be sitting watching the credits expecting some kind of bonus moment. Will they be waiting in vain?

For now, of course take this all with a pinch of salt – as there’s no way to verify whether the leak is grounded in reality or not.

But the same leak also coughed up some interesting claims about Captain Marvel’s credits sequences.

It’s said that the Brie Larson-fronted film will have two: the first will, unsurprisingly, lead to Endgame.

The second seems more interesting: it will apparently be a teaser for Eternals, a long-rumoured ‘next project’ for the hugely successful studio.

Avengers: Endgame is out in late April and is thought to be getting some kind of new trailer at the Super Bowl this weekend.

That being said, many believe it will be a re-cut, possibly shorter version of what we’ve already seen – and new footage or plot teasers will be somewhat thin.

The film is likely to be the box office event of the year, following the record-breaking success of last year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Avengers: Endgame is out on April 26.
