Susan Boyle makes EPIC return to BGT – star sings at 2019 audition in London

Susan Boyle, 57, who shot to fame after Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, returned to the same stage that made her famous to perform a rendition of I Dreamed A Dream from the musical Les Miserables. The BGT runner-up blew the judges away with her audition 10 years ago, and is now a world-famous recording artist with millions of adoring fans across the globe. Susan performed at the latest round of BGT auditions, held this weekend in London, but it is not yet clear when the performance will be aired. Those lucky enough to be seated in the Palladium in London for the performance took to Twitter to show pictures of the singer on stage. Ant McPartlin can be seen stood behind the singer in one candid shot, as Susan prepares to belt out her redition of the song.

But what is Susan up to now, 10 years after shooting to fame on the talent show?

The singer is currently starring on America’s Got Talent: The Champions – and it’s going well. Susan received the golden buzzer from judge Mel B for her performance of Wild Horses; the Spice Girls star said: “I want to be the woman that gives you something that you deserve.”

After being sent straight though to the final of the competition, Susan took to Instagram to tell her 21,000 followers: “Truly speechless to have received the Golden Buzzer from @OfficialMelB on #AGTChampions!

“Hope you all enjoy this performance,” she added, sharing a clip of herself singing The Rolling Stones’ hit.

“See you in the finals!” she added.

Meanwhile, the star recently took to Instagram to post a throwback snap of herself out in Hollywood.

Standing on Simon Cowell’s Hollywood star on the Walk of Fame, Susan smiled for the camera giving two thumbs up.

In view of her 23,100 followers, she captioned the post: “#FlashbackFriday to when Susan was in LA at the Hollywood ‘Walk of Fame’ and showed some love to the best boss in the world, @simoncowell.”

Fans flocked to comment on the photo as one fan wrote: “Looking forward to seeing your next performance Susan Boyle.”

Another person wrote: “She should totally have s star of her own!”

While a third person wrote: “Susan you are just adorable.”

Susa stepped out of the spotlight in recent years and has since gone public with her diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome in 2013.

She said she had received an incorrect diagnosis of brain damage as a child, telling The Observer: “I always knew it was an unfair label.

“Now I have a clearer understanding of what’s wrong and I feel relieved and a bit more relaxed about myself,” she added.

The same year, she was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and lost two stone after being advised to by doctors.

In 2016, The I Dreamed a Dream singer cancelled a series of shows due to illness. Susan told the publication: “I haven’t performed live because I’ve been ill.

“The short answer is that it has been connected to my Asperger’s syndrome.”

America’s Got Talent: The Champions airs Mondays on NBC, with episodes releasing on Netflix in the UK.

Britain’s Got Talent returns in April.
