Jane Fonda, 81, defies her years as she steals SAG Awards 2019 spotlight in red dress

Jane Fonda, 81, attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2019 last night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The award-winning America actress dazzled on the red carpet in a floor-length scarlet dress covered in shimmery sequins.

She teamed the fish-scale gown, which is believed to be from Italian designer Valentino, with a diamond ring reportedly worth $3 million.

Wearing her blonde hair in curls, the Barbarella star added a slick of red lipstick to coordinate with her outfit and finished off her look with a pair of chandelier earrings.

Jane arrived at the 25th annual award ceremony with her Grace and Frankie co-star Lily Tomlin, 79, who also sparkled in a black sequinned blazer and satin skirt.

The Netflix stars smiled for the cameras as they walked the red carpet of Californian event.

Hoping for a great night, the former fitness guru was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series award.

After going head-to-head with her co-star Lily, the pair lost out on the night to Rachel Brosnahan, for her performance in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Two days earlier, Jane, who won an Oscar for her performance in 1978 movie Coming Home, accepted the SOC Governor’s Award at The Society of Camera Operators 40th Annual Lifetime Achievement Awards held in Hollywood.
