Catherine Zeta-Jones goes braless in eye-popping SAG Awards gown amid shock Michael story

Catherine Zeta-Jones put on a jaw-dropping display on the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet, alongside her husband Michael Douglas. The actress daringly went braless in a show-stopping navy gown, which showcased her incredible figure. During the evening, the 49-year-old and her A-list actor spouse, 74, opened up about their early relationship. The couple, who wed back in 2000, said there was one thing in particular that he was particular keen on seeing her do, however it did not have a great effect on their home.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Michael commented: “When we first got together, I asked her to tap dance in our bathroom on the tile floor.”

Catherine, who has two children with the Basic Instinct star, continued: “That was limited, because the marble got a bit scratched up!”

Recalling the start of their romance, she stated: “He likes to watch me tap dance every now and again!”

It was at that point the film favourite added: “I watch her tap dance, anywhere and any place. I love to.”

Wearing her dark tresses down and straight, Catherine risked exposing a little too much in her floor-sweeping dress.

The number featured sequins throughout as well as a dramatic train and thigh-high split on the left side.

The beauty’s assets were very much on display in the long-sleeved ensemble, which came complete with sparkly detailing.

She polished off her attire with towering black sandals and statement jewellery, including dangly earrings.

Michael kept his look classic in a black tuxedo and matching bow-tie, while his grey hair was styled away from his face.

They were seen cosying up inside at The Shrine Auditorium, just days after attending the Netflix 2019 Nominees Toast.

Meanwhile, it was great night for the cast of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, who took home three awards.

As well as collecting the gong for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Rachel Brosnahan was awarded best actress while Tony Shalhoub was honoured in the male category.

Elsewhere, Rami Malek won for Bohemian Rhapsody, Sandra Oh for Killing Eve and Glenn Close for The Wife.

Mary Poppins actress Emily Blunt made a shock admission on stage after her SAG Awards 2019 win.

The 35-year-old actress scooped the statuette for her performance in A Quiet Place, which was directed by her husband John Krasinksi.

While she has no immediate plans to direct a film, the mother-of-two said she could make the switch in the future.
