James Jordan: 'You've got a skater's bum!' Dancing On Ice star gushes over Jane Danson

James Jordan, 40, took to his Instagram account today to reveal he was rehearsing on the practice rink alongside Coronation Street actress Jane Danson, 40.

As Jane showed off her figure skating skills, the former Strictly Come Dancing star admired her moves.

James told the soap star she had developed a “skater’s bum” but was unsure what it meant.

The dancer, who is married to Ola Jordan, filmed himself on the ice talking to the camera and said: “So I’m on the practice rink just me and Jane Danson and I’m going to chase her now.”

Jane could be seen kicking her legs out side-to-side as she skated ahead of James.

“Look at her go, look at those legs,” James shouted out.

He added: “It’s right what they say, you’re starting to get a skater’s bum, Jane.”

Unsure whether it was a compliment or not, Jane laughed and asked: “What does that mean?”

“I think it’s a good thing,” James replied. “Because people keep talking about this skater’s bum.”

James then followed up the video with a clip which showed Brian McFadden rehearsing on the ice as well as Wes Nelson who appeared to be perfecting his moves.

“Such a show off,” James laughed as he filmed Wes.

Eager to get rid of the competition, he joked: “Go home! Pull a hamstring or something.”

Yesterday, James revealed he had been in “so much pain” and was receiving physio.

In an Instagram video, he said: “I’m in so much pain this week, apparently these things from pure essential, they’re going to wrap my whole body in them because I’m in such a bad way.”

Showing off the patches, which are supposed to help relax and sooth muscular tensions and sensitive joints, James added: “I have no idea what they do. But apparently the physio Sharon said they work wonders.”

Yesterday, it was revealed contestant Ryan Sidebottom won’t be skating in tonight’s show after suffering an injury.

The former cricketer, who is partnered up with Dancing On Ice professional Brandee Malto, will get a free pass to next weekend’s show to compete again.

A spokesperson from ITV said: “Ryan Sidebottom has been ruled out of performing in tomorrow night’s show (Sunday 27th January) on medical grounds as a result of a Grade I adductor strain.

“Everyone at the show wishes him a speedy recovery.”

Dancing On Ice continues tonight on ITV at 6pm.
