ITV This Morning: ‘Who has done that?’ Eamonn Holmes’ BIZARRE appearance distracts viewers

This Morning on Sundays is a new addition to the line-up which sees presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford reflecting on the week’s segments as well as interviewing brand new guests.

Today’s instalment saw the presenters welcome Dancing On Ice judges and Olympic skating champions Torvill and Dean – Jayne and Christopher – to the ITV sofa.

The stars were set to discuss their performance during tonight’s show and the latest drama with contestant Gemma Collins and judge Jason Gardiner.

But when husband and wife hosts Eamonn and Ruth first introduced the programme, viewers couldn’t believe what the Irish journalist was wearing.

Both presenters were noticeably wearing more relaxed outfits for the occasion compared to their usual attire on weekdays, which will often see Eamonn in a smart shirt and Ruth wearing fitted dresses and skirts.

Today however, both hosts were wearing knitted jumpers to reflect the difference in programme-style, and while Ruth donned a lovely dark cream jumper dress, Eamonn’s oversized grey V-Neck jumper seemed incredibly baggy.

Distracted by the unusual choice, fans couldn’t help but debate the star’s attire during the programme, with many distracted from the guests and other segments.

Taking to Twitter, viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the turn-out.

One person asked: “Eamonn – who dressed you today?? #ThisMorning.”

“Eamonn in his Sunday sweats… why not #ThisMorning,” another reasoned.

A third giggled: “Nice jumper there Eamonn #ThisMorning.”

While a fourth raged: “#ThisMorning who has put that jumper on Eamonn? It’s way too big!! I know you’re going for relaxed Sunday but please wear clothes that fit!!!”

“#ThisMorning What’s the story with Eamonn’s jumper? It’s way to big for him,” a fifth viewer wondered.

Another commented: “Watching #ThisMorning whilst ironing and sorry @EamonnHolmes but your jumper looks a little too big for you!! #Baggy #Slim.”

Others were pleased with the choice, excited the show’s presenters seemed to be joining in with their Sunday vibe.

“#thismorning #sundaythismorning Very fun, more casual, like spending a Sunday morning with TV parents,” one person praised.

Another enthused: “Loving Eamonn’s casual look for Sunday’s #ThisMorning.”

“Love this version of This Morning, it’s so chill!” a third agreed.

This Morning continues tomorrow at 10.30am on ITV.
