This year’s Rumble is scheduled to kick off at 5pm ET on Sunday (10pm GMT) before the main card starts two hours later at 7pm (12am GMT). Wrestle Votes, who have broken WWE stories in the past, have claimed ahead of the showdown a “big surprise” is in store. The insider group has said the surprise is being kept from “nearly everyone”.
In a tweet, they said: “A ‘big’ surprise may be in the plans Sunday at the Rumble, one that’s being kept from nearly everyone.
“However, I’m not going to leak it.
“Two reasons, 1. If it happens, everyone should have a genuine reaction to the moment & 2. WWE doesn’t even know if it’s going to work out yet.”
The Twitter account appeared to suggest WWE is trying to thrash out a deal for a big star to appear in the hotly-anticipated Rumble match on Sunday night.

Speculation abounds about who the top mystery wrestler could be.
Wrestle Votes has, however, emphatically ruled out one major name.
The account said: “And this has nothing to do with Kenny Omega.”
Names that have already been rumoured as surprise entrants this year include Velveteen Dream, Tye Dillinger, Hornswoggle, Kurt Angle, Erick Rowan, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and even The Rock.
According to specialist website wrestlinginc.com, several people have highlighted the timing of The Rock’s announcement on Roman Reign’s role in the new “Hobbs & Shaw” movie.
Rock and Reigns made the announcement on Instagram just two days before Rumble Sunday.
While no verified reports have stated or even teased Reigns appearing in Sunday’s Rumble, observers and fans have pointed to the timing of the movie announcement as significant.
However, no official word has yet been released on who the major surprise referred to by Wrestle Votes could be.
