PS Plus February 2019 line-up announcement is coming soon with PlayStation Plus members set to find out the new and inbound selection of free PS4 games.
The current PS Plus line-up is headlined by free PS4 games STEEP and Portal Knights, which can be downloaded right now for nothing on PlayStation Plus.
The PS Plus February 2019 line-up – which will bring with it a new selection of free PS4 games – is expected to be revealed soon.
Sony typically doesn’t announce in advance when their next PS Plus line-up will be revealed, but it tends to be on the last Wednesday of each month.
So the PS Plus February 2019 line-up that includes the new free PS4 games is expected to be revealed on Wednesday January 30 2019.
And then the next selection of PlayStation Plus games should become available to download on Tuesday February 5 2019.
But ahead of the PS Plus February 2019 line-up reveal PlayStation Plus fans have been dealt some bad news.
Last year Sony announced that in 2019 PS Plus line-ups would drop free games for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

And while, at the time, that fateful day when PS3 and PS Vita games would be dropped from PS Plus was a while off – now it’s fast approaching.
The PS Plus February 2019 line-up will be the final PlayStation Plus line-up to feature free PS3 and PS Vita games.
Then, from March 8 – which is when the PS Plus March 2019 line-up will go live – PlayStation Plus will focus on PS4 games.
The news was revealed in a post on the official PlayStation Blog last year.

In it the PS Plus team said: “We also have an important service update to share. Starting next year on 8th March 2019, the PS Plus monthly games line-up will focus on PS4 titles and no longer include PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita titles.
“This won’t affect any games you’ve already downloaded, or will download, prior to 8th March 2019. Those games will still be part of your PS Plus games library as long as you remain a member.
“Your game saves and other benefits of PS Plus will also remain the same – the only change is that no new PS3 and PS Vita games will be added to the PS Plus monthly games line-up beyond 8th March 2019.
“Many of our fans are playing on the PS4 platform, with the increasingly vast number of PS4s in homes around the world.

“We’ll continue to prioritise the benefits you receive through your PS Plus membership, such as online multiplayer, PS4 monthly games, online game save storage and exclusive PS Store discounts across content and network services.
“As a reminder, if you do not wish to continue your subscription, please be sure to cancel it by turning off auto-renewal in your account settings before 8th March 2019.”
Hopefully PS Plus goes out with a bang for PS3 and PS Vita fans with the February 2019 line-up.
On the PlayStation Plus Reddit page members of that group have been predicting games that could be included in the next PS Plus line-up.

PS Vita picks include Persona 4 Golden and Stardew Valley while predictions for PS3 include Ni No Kuni and The Last of Us.
The PS Plus Reddit has an enviable track record, often predicting correctly games coming in forthcoming PlayStation Plus line-ups.
