Xbox Backwards Compatibility UPDATE: Four Xbox 360 classics join the games list

Xbox Backwards Compatibility games list just got a little bigger, as four Xbox 360 classics join the lineup.

Announced by Microsoft’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, the four games are all part of the beloved Command and Conquer franchise.

This includes real-time strategy classics like Red Alert 3 and Command and Conquer 3 Kane’s Wrath.

“Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, Command and Conquer 3 Kane’s Wrath, Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, and Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Commander’s Challenge are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today,” reads a Major Nelson tweet.

Command and Conquer 3 is currently available for £7.49, as is Red Alert 3.

The Kane’s Wrath DLC map pack costs £3.39 and the Commander’s Challenge is priced at £6.75.

Of course, if you already own the game you can simply insert the disc to continue playing.

Anybody who owns any of the games digitally can find them in the My Games and Apps section of the Xbox One dashboard.

“Control massive armies and wage war as one of as one of three rival factions in Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars,” reads the Xbox Store page.

“Embark on an adrenaline-fueled single-player campaign that features explosive 3D special effects, an unparalleled Hollywood cast, and over 90 minutes of live-action video.

“Then, head onto Xbox Live for devastating multiplayer battles with five exclusive modes and Xbox Live Vision support. You alone can decide the fate of the planet in the epic war over Tiberium.”

The Xbox Backwards Compatibility team has had a busy month.

Three Xbox 360 classics were given the Backwards Compatibility treatment earlier this month, including Battlestations Pacific, FUEL, and Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Fuel is an open-world racing game with a map so large it will take more than three hours to traverse.

Battlestations Pacific is an aerial combat release, while Rayman Raving Rabbids is a party game featuring an array of mini-games.
