Wes Nelson: Dancing On Ice star’s home with Megan Barton Hanson 'raided by thieves'

Wes Nelson, 20 and Megan Barton Hanson, 24, have reportedly lost thousands of pounds worth of valuables after burglars smashed their way into their London property.

The incident happened last night when Wes was rehearsing for his upcoming routine on Dancing On Ice and while Megan was out with her mum, The Sun have reported.

A source told the publication they returned to “utter carnage” after their flat was “ransacked by thieves”.

They said: ”They clearly knew exactly what they were looking for because they cleared them out of a huge amount of jewellery and electrical items.

“Megan and Wes are obviously inconsolable, because a lot of their personal items also got taken in the robbery. The flat was left in utter carnage.”

The couple moved into their new pad last October, after meeting on Love Island in the summer.

Elsewhere, Wes will have to remain focused on his dance this weekend with professional partner Vanessa Bauer.

Last Sunday, the pair came top of the leaderboard after an impressive performance during musical week.

Following their successful evening, Vanessa uploaded a selfie of the two of them where she thanked fans for their support.

She captioned the post: “Top of the leaderboard whaaaaaaat?!

“What a way to end this week. Thank you sooo much for your support #DancingOnIce.”

It came after Megan and Vanessa ended their feud, following a spat between the pair.

In an Instagram post, Megan claimed the skater had “tactfully” broken up with her boyfriend on the night of her first skate with Wes and said Vanessa failed to “look her in the eye” when they finally met.

Wes recently spoke out about Megan’s rant and said on Heart Radio: “Meg has suffered a lot. She has come to support me, cheer me on, and then got absolutely nailed for doing it.”

The reality star revealed Megan and Vanessa have ended their feud after speaking to each other.

Wes explained: “It’s a lot of pressure for Megs. It’s concluded. They’ve spoken to each other. They’re happy.

“I don’t even know what they spoke about, I just let women get on with their women talk.”

The Dancing on Ice star went on to insist he would “back his girlfriend” although admitted Megan hadn’t apologised for her Instagram post.

Wes continued: “She has said I wish I had privately messaged her.

“She’s not apologising for it. It’s how she feels. I’m not going to argue with it. I’m going to back my girlfriend.”

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday night on ITV at 6pm.
