James Jordan: Dancing on Ice star fears Sunday's show could be CANCELLED

James Jordan, 40, has wowed viewers with his skating ability on the ITV  series Dancing On Ice  2019 but the star has hinted there may be “no show” this weekend. Taking to Instagram, James uploaded a short video warning fans the snow fall could halt the production of the show. In view of his 97,500 followers he said: “Just got to the ice rink. “Lots of snow coming down. Hopefully it’s not going to be too bad because in Bovingdon it’s in the middle of nowhere and they get snowed in a lot.” He continued: “We don’t want snow, otherwise there’d be no show.”

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional was in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire in rehearsals for the skating on ice show.

Meanwhile, on last week’s show James certainly impressed the judges with his Phantom of the Opera performance with his co-star Alexandra Schauman.

The pair scored a solid 27 points for their routine placing them second on the leaderboard.

The outspoken star recently took to Instagram to praise his skate partner, Alexandra for putting together a “beautiful routine” and for also “keeping him on his feet.”

He wrote: “Thank you so much to my amazing partner @alex_lukasz !!

“Not only for creating a beautiful routine for me but also for keeping me on my feet when I know 100% without her saving me I was on my back.

“Such a shame I messed up the routine but so happy we made it through to next week.”

James did suffer a minor slip up mid performance but still managed to received a solid score from the judges.

James continued: “Gutted my mate @richardblackwood was eliminated as I know how much he loved the whole experience.

“And finally one more time to all of you that have supported me. It means the world and makes me want to push even harder. Thank you.”

Fans bombarded the star with praise for what some fans referred to as an “emotional” routine.

One person commented: “You were just fantastic. Brought tears to my eyes. Keep up the brilliant work.”

Another person said: “You are bringing you amazing dancing talent to the ice and smashing it.

“You recovered from that tiny stumble so don’t beat yourself up. Good luck for next week, you have my vote.”

Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday on ITV at 6pm.
