Of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, not only is the Great Pyramid of Giza the only one still standing, but it was already almost 2,000 years old when other cultures began to build their wonders. Some Egyptologists say only access to advanced technology would have allowed them to create stone structures, some with blocks weighing in the neighbourhood of 70 tons, with such perfect mathematical alignment. Most of the blocks that comprise the Great Pyramid of Khufu are solid limestone and granite.
The limestone blocks were likely taken from local sources, but the granite blocks, some more than 70 tons, were hauled from a site over 500 miles away.
Most experts agree that ramps of some kind were used to get the blocks into position, but the configuration of those ramps remains unknown.
Some think several long ramps from the ground to the work area were constructed and modified throughout building.
Others think the ramps would have spiraled around the outside of the pyramid, and still others think the pyramids may have been built from the inside out.

In National Geographic’s Aliens and Lost Worlds, the 2016 documentary questions what makes theorists think aliens were involved in the construction of the Great Pyramid.
An extraordinary woman, Lyssa Royal, reveals that she knows that aliens built ancient monuments.
Ms Royal is an intergalactic medium who’s in direct spiritual contact with an alien called “Sasha”, according to National Geographic.
The documentary claims “Sasha” channeled by Lyssa Royal lives billions of miles away but luckily “reception is crystal-clear”.
What appears next in the documentary is Ms Royal in a spiritual trance claiming to be “Sasha”.

The interviewer asks “Ms Royal, I mean “Sasha” who built the Great Pyramids”.
“Sasha” says: “In ancient days my forefathers came to earth, we were seeking another place to colonise.
“The monuments were built by extraterrestrials for actual scientific purposes”.

Erich von Däniken, a Swiss author achieved international notoriety when he said that alien astronauts had visited earth in our ancient past.
Mr Däniken argued that extraterrestrials helped build ancient monuments.
The narrator reveals his career as a solver of ancient mysteries began in the 1960s, with one in particular, the Great Pyramid of Egypt.
Mr Däniken says that the aliens “never made their hands dirty” building monuments.
All ancient sites, he said, were built by humans in honour of extraterrestrials, but with “engineering work” and “maybe some tools” came from the aliens.
In other words, humans did the “dirty work,” just not the part that requires brains.
If aliens had been here they would have left evidence of their presence. The proof may be in the pyramids themselves.
It’s easy to think of the pyramids only as giant block buildings, but in reality they are much more than that.
