Lewis Hamilton Instagram: Formula One ace gushes over American superstar – 'My MVP'

Lewis Hamilton uploaded a stunning picture of Serena Williams cradling her one-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., who she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian. In the picture shared on his Instagram Story, the tennis champion is seen wrapping her arms around the youngster as she stood with her eyes closed. Meanwhile, little Alexis starred at the camera, looking adorable in a bright pink tracksuit and a pair of black trainers. Lewis, 34, captioned the sweet photo: “My MVP [most valuable player] always @serenawilliams.”

It comes just days after the sportsman showed off his braids at an American football game in Los Angeles, California.

Sharing a picture of himself posing beside rappers YG and Post Malone, Lewis donned an oversized denim jacket, which he wore over a checkered shirt.

Post Malone, 23, sported a printed white T-shirt, which the heavily tattooed musician paired with a chunky chain and dark trousers.

YG, 49, also kept his look casual in a black hoodie, which he had under a bright yellow coat and he completed the get-up with a beanie hat.

Beside the photo of the trio, Lewis told his 9.4 million followers: “Touchdown views with Post and @yg @postmalone.”

He later posted a picture showing the back of his hair as he engaged in pilates and yoga to improve his core strength.

Sitting on his knees, the athlete rested both hands on his hips and sat with his body upright and facing the sea.

Of his workout, he said: “Active recovery. I’m doing Pilates and Yoga for my core strength, which do you prefer?”

Fans were quick to get involved in the discussion, with many offering their preference to the five-time Formula One World Champion.

One person shared: “Both in moderation is [good]. Yo, go champ,” while another suggested: “Hot yoga.”

A third insisted the sports star take it easy, writing: “Relax champ you deserve it. We got a sixth championship to get!”

Lewis has shared several photos and videos of himself staying active since his big win last year, however, former Formula One star Eddie Irvine says the driver is in “a different league” from his competitors.

“Lewis is an amazingly talented driver. When he first came to Formula 1 he was fantastic to watch and his overtaking was second to none,” he told the BBC.

“He’s probably a better overtaker than Michael [Schumacher] was, but for pace, and consistency over a whole weekend, over a whole year.”

He added: “I don’t think anyone touches Michael, [not] even [Ayrton] Senna.”

However, he insisted he had room for improvement, saying: “He’s not in Michael’s league and I don’t even think he is close, although he’s racking up lots of wins. He’s got the best car, there are more races and the competition is debatable.”
