It’s the most secretive film in movie history, but merchandise for Avengers Endgame was always going to tease a few titbits. One Marvel fan has posted pictures from a toy shop of characters from the movie. He’s even tweeted: “The store (where these photos were taken) was asked to put these toys back to storage.” WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS ENDGAME AHEAD.
Talking of the Mad Titan, his action figure shows his new weapon, plus the fact that he still has the Infinity Gauntlet one.
It was clear from the first Avengers Endgame trailer that Thanos is damaged from the Snap and possibly cannot remove the metal glove.
Meanwhile, there’s a first look at Hawkeye as Ronin with his hood up, plus dolls of characters who died in the Snap from Spider-Man and Black Panther to Star-Lord.
While one of the biggest surprises is a doll of Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie.
Introduced in Thor Ragnarok, Valkyrie was last seen on the Asgardian refugee ship at the film’s conclusion.
However, she wasn’t aboard at the beginning of Avengers Infinity War when Thanos attacked.
Feared dead in the massacre, or even in the Snap, the film’s directors have confirmed she’s alive.
Joe Russo said: “Several Asgardians have escaped. I have gone on record saying Valkyrie has escaped with some of the Asgardians.”
Avengers Endgame will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
