Who won Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner? Result of fight and latest reaction

Pacquiao faced Broner in his 70th fight, with the Filipino clashing with the former four-weight world champion in Las Vegas.

And Pacquiao beat the American on points to retain his WBA world welterweight title.

Pacquiao dominated in Vegas, throwing 112 punches to Broner’s 50.

He won the bout 117-111, 116-112, 116-112, with the judges all ruling in favour of Pacquiao.

Following his dominating win, Pacquiao revealed he’s open to facing Floyd Mayweather again.

“Tell him to come back to the ring and we will fight,” he said.

“I am willing to fight with Floyd Mayweather if he is willing to come back to box.”

Pacquiao faced Mayweather in 2015, with the American coming out on top and winning via unanimous decision.

Mayweather was ringside to watch the fight, however, Money refused to confirm his interest in a rematch.

Pacquiao was vocal after his clash with Broner, revealing he was told to be patient if he wanted to win.

“I felt so happy because I did well in the fight. We did a lot of work on the jab in training camp,” he added.

“God gave me this good health and blessings and at age 40 I can still do this.

“I proved it in my last fight and I’ve proved it again at the age if 40. Manny Paquiao is still here.

“I wanted to push more but my trainer said it would be careless, to wait for him and counter so that’s what I did.”

However, despite Pacquiao dominating in Vegas on Saturday night, Broner was adamant he won the fight, despite throwing less than half the amount of punches.

“I beat him. Everyone out there knows I beat him. I controlled the fight, he was missing,” he said.

“I hit clean more times. I beat him.”

Pacquiao reportedly earned around £15.5million for his clash with Broner.
