EastEnders viewers watched on earlier this month as bigamist Ray (played by Sean Mahon) was killed off by a protective Hunter Owen (Charlie Winter) after Ray’s wedding to Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) took a sinister twist.
In upcoming soap scenes, Mel will be pinned up against a wall, as seen in new shocking spoiler photos.
Mel will worry about Hunter’s erratic behaviour at first, believing it to just be dealing with his murderous actions.
However, things soon go from bad to worse when Ray’s other wives Nicola Kelly (Alexandra Gilbreath) and Maddie Wright (Robyn Paige) arrive demanding answers about Ray.
Will Mel be able to throw them off of the scent?
It comes after it was revealed that Hunter will be written out of the BBC soap in the coming weeks.
An EastEnders source confirmed the news to Digital Spy, teasing a dramatic exit – could Nicola and Maddie have a role to play in his exit?
The insider explained: “Bosses are staying tight-lipped on exactly how Hunter exits Walford.
“But after he shot Ray dead at New Year, it promises to be dramatic.
“Hunter will be on our screens for a while yet and there is still a lot more drama to come.
“He and his mum are faced with the fallout of his actions.”
Will the youngster be arrested, or could the teenager make a run for it?
It comes as Dr Legg (Leonard Fenton) had to face up to menacing Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) after he was threatened by the character earlier this week.
EastEnders viewers already know Dr Legg will be leaving the soap soon, but are now concerned Stuart has something to do with his exit storyline.
The evil villain has manipulated Dot Branning (June Brown) into believing he is a wholesome human being, when he is really causing stress for Dr Legg.
Long-time fans of the soap will remember Dr Legg appearing in the very first episode of EastEnders over thirty years ago.
He served as Walford’s GP until 1997 when he officially retired.
While on the soap, Doctor Legg formed a close bond with Dot who payed him several visits with hypochondriac illnesses.
Dot held the doctor in high regard and trusted every piece of his advice.
Dr Legg has now confided in Dot about Stuart’s unsettling behaviour towards him, with Dot taking firm action – will Stuart continue his reign of terror?
