Melania Trump REVEAL: President asks First Lady about EVERYTHING –'She's his honest voice'

Melania Trump was that opposed to the idea of her husband becoming President that it is said she broke up with him when he started thinking about running in 2000. Michael Wolff reported in his book, Fire and Fury, that she cried on election night. He said: “She shed tears, but not of joy.”

But despite experiencing a brutal change in 2017 when Donald Trump was inaugurated, a source close to the First Lady has revealed Melania is now enjoying the role and has a huge amount of influence inside the White House.

In a new book written by US journalist Nina Burleigh, the source revealed the former model genuinely has an interest in fulfilling the duties forced upon her as First Lady.

The source also said she retains influence over her husband and he goes to her about everything.

The insider told Nina Burleigh: “She is that calming, supportive, honest voice.

“Especially to him. And he goes to her about everything.

“She’s unapologetic for what she says and how she says it because it’s truly from her gut and her instinct.

“She tells him exactly how she feels about what he’s done.

“But you can influence only certain aspects and you can discuss only certain things.”

According to her friends and “many other accounts”, the Republican firebrand actually listens to her when she decides to pitch in on issues such as the child separations at the Mexico border and the recent firing of a national security aide who had crossed Melania’s staff.

The First Lady was called the “silent beauty” during the 2016 Presidential election campaign and only spoke behind the podium three times.

During one of which at the Republican National Convention she was accused of plagiarising Michelle Obama.

But two years on Melania is speaking out more, attending more public events and doing more media interviews, making her true feelings known through acts of rebellion, which are unprecedented for a First Lady.

After it was reported porn star Stormy Daniels was paid money to stop her discussing a fling she allegedly had with Trump in 2006, Melania was forced to attend the President’s State of the Union address but arrived in a separate car from her husband.

She also pulled out of a trip to Davos that same month.

And in May 2018, she was unheard from in 24 days, after what the White House described as a routine outpatient procedure.
