Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell, who confirmed they were dating just hours after the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 final, suffered a major mishap on stage yesterday. The YouTube star and the Australian dancer were seen nosediving to the ground in a clip filmed by a member of the audience. The 27-year-old appeared to pull down the BBC pro in the awkward video as backing dancers performed in the middle. He was seen dramatically rolling backwards as he attempted to recover as his 29-year-old partner got up as quick as she could.
Joe cut a smartly dressed figure in the humiliating upload while Dianne stood out in a red dress, complete with side split.
He later spoke out about the tumble in view of his own 5.5 million Twitter followers, after many took to the micro-blogging site to comment.
The Strictly Come Dancing tour kicked off in Birmingham and will make it’s way around the country before ending in London next month.
“Oops…” the vlogger posted online. “We’re all good btw! Just got caught up in the rock n roll of it all.

Their drama caused a stir with many users replying and commenting. One user quipped: “Can’t believe they caught the exact moment you fell for Dianne on camera.”
A second tweeted: “JOE SUGG NOSEDIVING THE FLOOR AND DRAGGING DIANNE DOWN WITH HIM IN HIS VERY FIRST LIVE SHOW ON TOUR RT YOUR GOALS.”(sic)
“@Joe_Sugg was just trying to make the showdance more sexy and seductive by dragging @dbuzz6589 to the floor with him,” a third joked.
Someone else added: “I HOPE YOU BOTH ARE OKAY AND TBH THE BACKROLL WAS LOWKEY A GOOD SAVE, YOU’RE DOING GREAT.”(sic)
Joe and Dianne both later took to Instagram to say they had lifted the Glitterball in the same show.
The duo missed out in the programme’s grand finale, with Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton being crowned the winners.
She posted on Instagram beforehand: “Where in Birmingham tanned up and ready to do our first show tonight on the Strictly live tour – so exciting #strictlylivetour @joe_sugg.”(sic)
Meanwhile, it comes just hours after a source told The Sun they had reportedly been “kissing and cuddling around the clock” during rehearsals.
Their loved-up antics have turned training into a “nightmare” for their co-stars, the publication claimed.
The insider told them: “Nobody objects to them having a romance. But this behaviour belongs in the bedroom.”
