Emma Willis Instagram: The Voice host causes a stir as she announces ‘emotional’ news

Emma Willis, 42, took to Instagram to reveal she will be returning to the W Channel for the second series of her show Emma Willis: Delivering Babies. After uploading a promotional photo of the show, where she was seen dressed in a nurses outfit while holding a newborn baby, she captioned the post: “So happy to announce I’m returning to my lovely little maternity family at Princess Alexandra Hospital. “#DeliveringBabies was an emotional and incredibly rewarding experience and I can’t wait to get back there. Pop the kettle on Val.” The television star’s 1.3 million followers flocked to congratulate Emma: “This show was so helpful to watch in my pregnancy.

“Really enlightened me about maternity services and how much goes into the care we receive. Great show!”

Another person commented: “Yes fantastic news absolutely love you and your baby program. So happy it’s coming back.”

A third person quipped: “I tried to swap hospitals Emma just so I could have possibly been on the show.

“I’m due April 12th! Oh well maybe another time.”

Emma swapped presenting for midwifery when she featured on the show in the first series last year.

The former Big Brother host had to undergo specific training to help out the midwives at the hospital in Harlow.

The second series will also be accompanied with a one-off special, Emma Willis: Meet The Babies, where the presenter will visit the parents and babies from the first series

The mother-of-three shares her daughter Isabelle, nine, son Ace, seven, and two-year-old daughter Trixie-Grace with husband Matt Willis.

It comes after Emma recently made her return to The Voice UK 2019 earlier this month.

The Voice host is joined by celebrity judges Olly Murs, Jennifer Hudson, Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones.

The singing competition currently is going head-to-head with the new BBC series The Greatest Dancer.

However, the ITV show beat the BBC’s offering in regard to TV ratings with the former pulling in 4.6 million viewers compared to 4.1 million.

Last week’s episode saw a series first for the show, with newcomer Grace, 17, performing her own original song.

Sir Tom was stunned by her talent along with his fellow coaches and the singing legend then decided to offer her a spot on his team.

Once Grace left the stage, she spoke with presenter Emma who revealed a shocking fact.

The presenter said: “That’s the first time ever someone has turned around to an original song. Isn’t that amazing!”

The Voice returns tonight on ITV at 8pm and Emma Willis: Delivering Babies will air on the W Channel later this year.
