Avengers Endgame: MORE last-minute reshoots? THIS returning character is back on set

The Russo brothers have a huge task ahead of them; following-up last year’s enormously successful Avengers: Infinity War with something even more exciting. The film was initially shot back-to-back with Infinity War, before additional reshoots took place late last year. Now, it seems someone in particular has been back for yet more filming.

Jeremy Renner – who plays Hawkeye – indicated on Instagram that he has been back shooting additional footage.

The 48-year-old was not present at all in Infinity War but will definitely be seen in Avengers: Endgame.

While he did not pop up in any marketing for the previous movie, fans have already seen him in the next film’s trailer.

Now, he’s also given away on social media that he’s doing more shooting – though he didn’t give away any specifics or even locations.

“Wishing you all a wonderful weekend …. almost done on set !!!” he captioned the pic.

The hashtags gave away the film: “#weekendlove #needamassage #infinitywar #comingsoon #marvel.”

Avengers: Endgame will be released in April and is set to bring the current phase of Marvel movies to a close.

It will be followed in July by Spider-Man: Far From Home; the first trailer for which was released last week.

Interestingly, that trailer made no reference whatsoever to the events of the two-part Avengers blockbusters – not least the fact that Spider-Man himself was turned to dust at the end of the first one.

Also en route is the 1990-set Captain Marvel, which will introduce viewers to Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers ahead of her expected appearance in Endgame.

Black Panther and Doctor Strange are believed to be getting sequels further down the line, and there’s also thought to be a Black Widow solo movie in the pipeline.

Avengers: Endgame is out on April 26.
