FORTNITE ICE STORM – WHAT COULD HAPPEN DURING THE LIVE EVENT? WHAT ARE THE LEAKS ABOUT THE ICE KING AND THE SPHERE / ORB ABOVE POLAR PEAKS?

In an unprecedented move, part of the Fortnite live event leaked ahead of it officially taking place.

Earlier this week prominent leaker Lucas7yoshi_ posted a video showing what was inside of the floating sphere above Polar Peaks.

The clip showed the Ice King inside the sphere moving their hands around what looks like a smaller version of Kevin the Cube.

Alongside the clip Lucas7yoshi_ posted: “Video explains itself.

“No hacking to the game itself was done to achieve this, no competitive advantage was gained.

“This does not violate the Fortnite/Epic Games TOS in anyway that I know of.”

And 24 hours before the Fortnite Ice Storm event was due to start the sphere transformed to appear just like it did in the leaks.

This thankfully means there are still plenty of surprises in store for the Fortnite live event kicking off tomorrow.

And stay tuned to see if the Fortnite sphere undergoes further changes in the lead up to the big live event.

But what could the Fortnite event actually entail?

It could be that the Ice King could be some sort of mega boss that Battle Royale players will have to join forces to defeat.

It recently emerged that Epic Games has tested what it would be like for every Fortnite player to attack an iceberg with five billion HP.

Maybe this test was hinting that the Fortnite ice storm event will end with the super powerful Ice King landing in Battle Royale.

And then every Fortnite player around the world would have to squad up to face off against it.

It also looks like the Fortnite Ice Storm event will result in Fortnitemares-like creatures hitting the map which players will have to face off against.

The Fortnite Ice Storm is also also expected to result in an in-game event that will offer players 13 challenges to complete.

Completing all of the challenges will reportedly unlock the Winter’s Thorn Glider. Other rewards are said to include the Blue Metallic Wrap.
