Avengers Endgame and Spider-Man Far From Home trailers reveal THIS about MCU future?

If you watch the Avengers Endgame trailer and then Spider-Man Far From Home’s they’re certainly very different. We know the latter is set after Endgame, but there are characters in Far From Home who died in Avengers Infinity War. And let’s not forget the fact that those alive in Endgame are not in the Far From Home trailer. Just what is going on? Well, one popular new fan theory argues that after Endgame there will be two separate MCU universes that are aware of each other but can’t share the same existence anymore.

Reddit user Sinsanity_ argues: “Notice how everyone in the new Far From Home trailer was either snapped out of existence in Infinity War or their status after the snap was unknown…

“None of the people who survived appear in this trailer. And none of the people in this trailer (snapped/potentially snapped) appeared in the endgame trailer…

“I think the Spiderman movie takes place in the warp world … I think after endgame the two universes are aware of each other and exist separately…

That’s why they were fine mentioning Iron Man and Thor but neither of them (or anyone else) made an appearance…”

They added: “It’s also why Happy has let himself go but isn’t depressed… “Endgame likely ends with the two universes becoming aware of each other and deciding to accept this separate existence with their respective heroes safeguarding their own universes.”

Whatever it takes to resurrect the dead in Endgame, it will certainly come at a great cost.

This is something directors The Russo Brothers have teased a couple of times.

Speaking with Variety last year, Anthony Russo said: “I will say this: There is a real commitment on our end to the stakes.

“Yes, this is a fantasy world, and yes, remarkable things can happen in a fantasy world, but…”

Joe finished for him: “They come at an incredibly high cost.”

Avengers Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 26 and Spider-Man Far From Home will follow on July 5.
