Louise Redknapp Instagram: Strictly star shares health update as she exposes ‘sore’ face

Louise Redknapp shared a video with her 590,000 Instagram followers last night, after speaking to the doctor about her injuries. The singer and ex-wife of Jamie Redknapp said she was “still sore” after being rushed to hospital after falling in London. The 44-year-old revealed her injured chin in the close-up upload, which was filmed in the front seat of a car. Wearing her tresses down, she was dressed casually for her outing, as she reunited with her 9 To 5 cast mates.

Louise commented: “Hi, I’ve seen the doctor, chin is healing really well, but I’m still quite sore.”

She continued: “On my way to do a quick read through for 9 To 5 so I don’t lose what I had.

“But I just wanted to say a quick thank you for your support – you’ve all been amazing.”

The Eternal hitmaker’s face had looked very painful when she broke her silence on the incident six days ago.

She was seen sat under a microscope in the hospital, with a bloodied chin in the post which has been liked more than 25,000 times.

The star stated: “It breaks my heart to say I am having to take some time out and won’t be able to continue with my role in 9-5.

“Due to a nasty fall I have only gone and fractured my wrist and got 10 (yes 10) stitches in my chin.”

Louise added: “Following my doctors orders – they have said I will be ok but as they say in the theatre, ‘the show must go on’.

“I wish the rest of the fabulous cast an amazing opening night and I will be back on that stage for @9to5themusicaluk before you know it.”

The Savoy Theatre also issued a statement at the time, stating: “We hope Louise will start performances towards the end of March or early April.

“Due to an injury this week, Louise Redknapp has had to temporarily withdraw from performing the role of Violet in 9 to 5 The Musical.

“The recovery time recommended means Louise is no longer able to properly rehearse the show in the remaining time left before opening.”

Meanwhile, it comes just hours after Louise Redknapp enjoyed a late night with Lee Ryan after her fall.

Clutching what appeared to be glass of red wine, she turned heads in a plunging ensemble for the event.

She was seen wearing support on her wrist after fracturing it at the same time.

“When ur mates are so talented @officialleeryan,”(sic) Louise gushed, as she she stood in the excited crowd as the Blue star performed.
