Gemma Collins: 'I’m devastated' Dancing On Ice star finally breaks silence on QUIT rumours

Gemma Collins uploaded a number of videos to her Instagram page today, where she addressed reports she was going to quit Dancing On Ice 2019.

Putting the rumours to bed, the 37-year-old admitted she did want to leave the show but said she’s “not giving up”.

Filming herself from the ice rink, she spilled: “Good morning everyone, so sorry for my eyes looking so heavy.

“Obviously I’ve been devastated by all the hurtful press reports this week which haven’t been true.”

She adamantly said: “But I’m not giving up, I’m not quitting.”

Gemma continued: ”I’ve got the shakes where I’ve been so upset. Please don’t believe what’s been put out there.

“Do I want to quit? Yes, but I’m not gonna.”

Preparing for this weekend’s show, Gemma added: “It has got me down this week but I hope you’re going to love Sunday’s routine.”

Referring to reports she demanded the cameramen to stop filming her for Dancing On Ice whilst rehearsing, Gemma filmed them and said: “So did I tell you at any point to get your cameras off the ice guys?”

The two two men laughed and shook their heads as Gemma poked fun at the claims.

“I know people say I’m a diva but it’s a bit of a laugh, it’s not actually true,” Gemma added.

She then joked and shouted to the cameramen: “Get off the ice, get off the ice now!” as they laughed and attempted to scuffle away on the ice.

Gemma went on to film her Dancing On Ice professional partner Matt Evers skating around the rink as they rehearsed for their second routine.

The 42-year-old American skater joined the Only Way Is Essex star as she spoke to the camera.

Gemma divulged: “The reason I haven’t been on social media before talking about this, me and Matt have been so upset.

“We were shell-shocked, we didn’t know what to do, we were heartbroken.”

It comes after Holly Willoughby hit out at Gemma’s “diva behaviour” during Monday’s episode of This Morning.

The presenter wasn’t impressed after the reality star held up rehearsals at the weekend and left the studio early during the live recording of Dancing On Ice on Sunday night.

Holly slammed Gemma’s lack of “professionalism” and said: ”I love Gemma, I’m a big fan of hers and I love her on the show.

“But I do think there has to be a bit of professionalism that comes into any work you do, just a bit of pride in your work.”

She added: “I love that side of her but professionalism will always outweigh any of that diva behaviour.”

Dancing On Ice 2019 airs Sunday on ITV at 6pm.
