Galaxy S10 release date – Is this when YOU can get this Samsung flagship?

Galaxy S10 is one of the most anticipated Android phones of the year and is expected to introduce a number of changes that could vastly differentiate it from its predecessor.

Galaxy S10 has been rumoured to break recent Samsung tradition by releasing in at least three models.

When each released in 2017 and 2018 respectively, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 only released in standard and “+” variants.

A cheaper model of the Galaxy S10 has been claimed to be in development and could severely lower the price barrier to entry for the flagship.

This model in particular has been said to forgo some premium features in exchange for a more appealing price tag.

However, all varieties of the S10 are expected to come with a new all-screen design with extremely minimal bezels.

Moreover, the display on each has been rumoured to arrive with a hole punch-style notch.

Essentially, this means a cutout could be present within the screen itself for the hardware’s front-facing camera.

Rumoured pricing for each of the S10 models recently leaked via Gizmodo.

The outlet insisted the starting price for the South Korean OEM’s new device could be as low as £669.

The full cost list read:

• Galaxy S10 Lite, 128GB storage – £669

• Galaxy S10, 128GB storage – £799

• Galaxy S10, 512GB storage – £999

• Galaxy S10+, 128GB – £899

• Galaxy S10+, 512GB – £1,099

• Galaxy S10+, 1TB storage – £1,399

The Wall Street Journal has declared a fourth version of the Galaxy S10 is in the works and boasts a huge 6.7-inch display, three cameras and can deliver 5G network speeds for fans.

Such a report suggests Samsung could be planning a variety of the S10 that is even more premium than its “+” model.

Last week the tech giant sent out invitations to media and influencers for an Unpacked event taking place in San Francisco that will lift the lid on the S10.

Moreover, the South Korean OEM has also hinted its long-awaited foldable phone could debut, too.

However, it was previously unknown how long Samsung fans would have to wait after the flagship’s announcement to get their hands on it.

But now South Korean outlet ETNews has published a report claiming the S10 will go on sale on March 8, spotted by Softpedia.

Most notably, the site stated the 5G version of the S10 will arrive slightly later to the other models on March 29.

It is unknown if Samsung is set to deliver the S10 early to fans that pre-order the hardware, as has been the case with previous handsets.

Finally, it should be remembered Samsung has not officially stated when the S10 will be available for Android fans.

However, the firm will surely reveal such details on February 20.
