Monaco want Batshuayi

Monaco are keen on a deal for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi having snapped up Cesc Fabregas.

The striker has returned from a loan spell at Valencia and is likely to be on the move again this month.

“Michy? I know him, we rubbed shoulders with Belgium, he is a player who can be interesting,” Monaco boss Thierry Henry said.

“But again, nothing is done. You have to be patient. It’s important that players know the championship, though.”

Real Madrid quoted stunning Harry Kane price

Real Madrid have been told they will have to pay a staggering £312million if they want to sign Harry Kane, according to reports in Spain.

The Tottenham star, 25, is said to be their top target as they search for a new man to lead the line after a difficult season so far.

And Spanish publication AS say they have been quoted what would comfortably be a world-record fee by Spurs.

That would dwarf the current record set by Paris Saint-Germain when they paid Barcelona £200m to sign Neymar, 26, in 2016.

Coutinho ‘fantastic for Manchester United’

Philippe Coutinho would be fantastic for Manchester United, according to ESPN pundit Paul Marriner.

The board are keen on bringing Neymar back to the Camp Nou and Coutinho’s sale could well pave the way for the PSG star’s return.

According to Mariner, it would be top business from Man United if they can prise the 26-year-old away from Barcelona.

“For United that’s fantastic but it would be a miss for him,” he said.

Coutinho to Man Utd?

Barcelona are reportedly willing to sell Philippe Coutinho amid interest from Manchester United.

The midfielder has struggled at the Nou Camp since joining a year ago and now Italian publication Calciomercato claims Barca could sell if the price is right.

Barcelona are keen re-sign Neymar and may use the sale of Coutinho to fund that deal.

Spanish publication Marca has also claimed Coutinho has hit rock bottom at Barcelona.

Chelsea close in on replacement for Fabregas

Chelsea are close to the signing of Leandro Paredes as they look to replace Cesc Fabregas.

Evening Standard reporter Simon Johnson claims a deal for Paredes is closer than one for Nicola Barella.

He tweeted in response to Chelsea’s post about Fabreas leaving, saying: “His departure should also mean new #cfc signing is imminent. I’ve been off today but #Paredes seemed closer than #Barella last night.”

It is though deals for both Paredes and Barella have been agreed in principle but Chelsea have decide which one they want.

Denis Suarez to Arsenal

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Denis Suarez from Barcelona, according to Goal.com.

The midfielder is a loan target for Arsenal and Unai Emery want him to give his squad a boost.

And Goal claim the deal is now close despite Barca preferring a permanent deal.

Arsenal are only able to sign players on loan due to FFP restrictions.

Barca ready to bid for Willian again

Barcelona are set for a second bid for Chelsea Willian, according to the Evening Standard.

Barca have made clear their intentions to sign Willian by offering Malcom in exchange.

But Chelsea rejected the first move this month and will now have to decide on the second.

Willian has 18 months left on his contract so a sale would make sense but Maurizio Sarri is loathed to lose players this winter.
