The Greatest Dancer: Matthew Morrison drops secret about Alesha Dixon – did you hear?

BBC’s The Greatest Dancer was back with another jam-packed episode of the new competition and tonight viewers tuned in to see the next instalment of contestants battle it out for a place in the callbacks. 

During an interlude between performances, the dance captains were heard talking to one another about the shows presenter, Alesha Dixon. 

Especially Glee star Matthew, who has been married to Renee Puente since 2014, revealed his thoughts about Alesha. 

Whilst waiting for the next audition, Matthew turned to the ladies either side of him and remarked: “Can I just say that Alesha Dixon is fit?” 

Agreeing with her co-captain, Cheryl agreed and said: “She’s proper fit.” 

It comes after Cheryl shocked Oti Mabuse over the time it took her to get ready for the show. 

The Strictly Come Dancing professional was chatting to Matthew and Cheryl when she asked the latter how long it took her to look the way she did. 

“What time did you have to do your makeup at?” Oti pried to which the Crazy Love singer replied: “7am”. 

Taken aback by her answer, Oti continued: “You need three hours to get ready?” 

“She doesn’t look like this,” Matthew interjected jumping to Cheryl’s defence. 

“She needs a lot of work!” He joked and Cheryl replied by pulling a dirty face. 

Those watching at home saw her purse her lips and raise her eyebrows as she moved in a sassy motion. 

Elsewhere in the dance show, viewers saw the rivalry between the captains heat up. 

It came after one epic performance from Company Jinks and their commercial routine. 

After scoring over 75 percent of audience votes, the doors opening on the dance troupe to reveal a cheering arena and three elated captains.

But it wasn’t until after the audition when the claws were out between Cheryl and Oti. 

“This is going to be so difficult to cut down to the final nine in the callbacks,” Oti explained. 

Matthew added: “I’m scared of what’s to come, with the three of us.” 

Sensing the fierce competition and rivalry between each other, Oti remarked: “I got you, I got you Matthew,” before joking: “Now let’s sort Cheryl out.” 

Surprised by Oti’s response, Cheryl just laughed before the pair were seen making their hands into fists and putting up a boxer’s stance. 

The Greatest Dancer returns next Saturday at 8.10pm on BBC One.
