Coronation Street spoilers: Nick Tilsley exposed by David in shocking Platt family twist?

Coronation Street’s Audrey (played by Sue Nicholls) was heartbroken when she believed her lover Lewis (Nigel Havers) had stolen money from her.

However, in a recent twist, Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska) was accused of taking the money from her rival.

But fans know it was really Nick (Ben Price) who took the money and now soap star Ben has revealed his brother David (Jack P Shepherd) will find out.

Could David use the information to his advantage or will he expose Nick ripping the Platt family apart?

Teasing details of Nick’s storyline, Ben hinted David wouldn’t let his brother off easily.

“David is very suspicious, he does look for that sort of thing and he knows Nick better than anyone else,” he explained.

“David knows what Nick is capable of – whereas Audrey and Gail would never believe Nick could do something like that, David knows different.

“He doesn’t trust him.

“The girls in the Platt family are pretty cool and fundamentally good people, but the brothers are not.”

Ben spilled Nick will feel guilty about his actions but wants to keep up appearances in order to impress girlfriend Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).

But David has a different idea and according to Ben will use this information to “his full advantage”.

He added to Digital Spy: “This is going to be a ticking time bomb for the brothers and the family.”

Could David persuade Nick to help him fund the barber shop they will reportedly set up this year?

If he does, there’s no doubt eyebrows will be raised over how they managed to afford it.

When the family learns the truth, it certainly won’t be pretty.

Ben shared: “Usually their problems come from someone on the outside causing them issues and threatening the family and they all pull together, but this time is within.

“It will divide loyalties and will really test the family.”

Meanwhile, it seems Angie Appleton (Victoria Ekanoye) could already be making a return to Weatherfield despite only leaving on Monday.

Actress Victoria noted she has unfinished business which needs to be tied up.

Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
