Cheryl dating: Has Cheryl Cole GIVEN UP on love? Singer hits ‘PAUSE’ on relationships

Cheryl is back on our screens on Saturday nights as a judge on prime-time BBC show The Greatest Dancer. But away from the limelight, the former Girls Aloud pop princess still nurses a broken heart. The singer split from Liam Payne, with whom she has a 10-month-old son, last year after two years together. And now single mum Cheryl has revealed how the break-up has left her questioning future romantic relationships.

Has Cheryl Cole GIVEN UP on love?

Speaking to the Mail Online, Cheryl said: “I wouldn’t say I’ve given up on love. I love, love.

“But I have paused my relationship goals. All is well.

“I’m just going with the flow, but I have no plans to meet anybody anytime soon.”

The Geordie did reveal there is no bad feeling between her and Liam.

She said: “There’s no animosity whatsoever. We are learning all the time.

“And it’s good, it’s healthy. We’re just like any other couple that have gone through this, but we have a few more eyes watching us… Just a few.”

Cheryl confirmed her relationship to Liam was over on July 1, 2018 following months of speculation.

The couple met when she was 24 and he was 14 on the X-Factor auditions in 2008.

They would not get together romantically until years later in 2015.

Who else has Cheryl dated?

But Liam was not Cheryl’s first break-up – the singer has had a string of high-profile splits.

She divorced first husband Ashley Cole in 2010 following four years of rumours about his persistent cheating.

Her marriage to second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini also broke down within two years.

The pair married in a private beach wedding in Mystique in May 2014 after just two months together.

Cheryl has also dated professional dancer Derek Hough and choreographer Tre Holloway.

Cheryl is now putting her current focus into her career.

After launching comeback single Love Made Me Do It at the end of 2018, she appears to be relishing her new role on The Greatest Dance.

She told Mail Online: “I’ve always wanted to be involved in a dance show because I feel like it’s such a huge talent that never really gets the chance to shine.

“It’s definitely a different atmosphere here. There’s not so much of a competitive nature, between the captains. There was before.”
