Weight loss: Woman loses SEVEN stone with just one simple change – how did she do it?

While some people change their lives as they unveil dramatic weight loss results, others can sometimes fall at the first hurdle. Slimming can be a challenge, but for those who are overweight, it can be crucial for both health and confidence. Weighing in at nearly 20 stone, and wearing a women’s dress size 24, Alanoosh Williams tried her best to make a big change. But, despite her best efforts to take on a whole host of diet plans, she found herself struggling with them every time.

“I would try different diets and would lose weight each time, but then I would have a treat meal, which would turn into a treat weekend, a treat week, month and so on,” the 25-year-old said.

To make things even more tricky, Alanoosh was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 18, with her health condition meaning it was even more difficult to slim.

Explaining how it affected her, the 25-year-old explained that she would gain weight very quickly, unless she followed a strict low carb and high protein diet.

She added: “One weekend I went to London and actually gained 10lbs!

“A lot of people will presume that it was mostly water weight, but that was not the case.”

Sadly, Alanoosh’s size meant she found working out in the gym intimidating – only making her effort to lose weight even more of a challenge.

Feeling like weight loss surgery was her only option, the 25-year-old decided to do some research online.

But, it was at this point that she came across an alternative – the fitness plan Results with Lucy.

Deciding to change her lifestyle by giving the plan a go, back in the summer of 2016, Alanoosh began a 12-week “New Beginnings” programme – which saw her shed a huge three stone and five pounds within the three month period.

Motivated by the weight loss, she continued with the work outs and nutrition plans.

And, these days, she has dropped to a size 14-16 – as well as losing a total of six stone and seven pounds.

However, it seems that Alanoosh is all too aware of the importance of maintaining her hard work.

She said: “Managing my weight is still hard and if I don’t stick to plan it’s very easy for me to gain a large amount of weight.

“This summer is a good example. I relaxed my diet but still exercised and still managed to gain three stone in just three months!

“Luckily, Results with Lucy doesn’t make sticking to a nutrition plan or finishing a workout feel like a chore, so it’s easy for me to get back on it.”
