Emmerdale spoilers: Belle Dingle’s exit revealed as Lachlan finally gets his comeuppance?

Emmerdale finally revealed Lachlan White (played by Thomas Atkinson) was behind the sinister acts happening to Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and her family over the past few weeks.

Scenes from tonight’s instalment showed Donny face Lachlan in prison and get him to confess to conjuring up the plans to target his ex-girlfriend.

Little did the murderer know his father had been wired up with a recording device by the police, which meant Lachlan was held directly responsible for the crimes he committed.

But in the final scene of the episode, did Belle reveal her exit from the village?

Those watching at home saw Belle face the killer one last time.

As she entered his prison cell, a surprised Lachlan finally showed his true colours and it was time for Belle to take back control.

“You tried so hard to destroy me,” she confidently began. “You’re not sorry for anything. But it’s over, you’ve got nothing left.

“This is it, this is goodbye. And I can’t say that it’s been nice to know you. But I hope you have a great life Lachlan, I know I will.”

And with that she turned on her heel and didn’t look back.

Does Belle hint at the possibility of leaving Emmerdale to deal with torment she has been put through the past few years?

Viewers already know Belle’s parents, Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) are currently absent from the village.

Lisa has been in Scotland following a major health scare alongside brief conflict amongst the Dingle clan.

Could Belle leave temporarily to go and visit them?

Elsewhere in Emmerdale, will Maya Stepney’s secret (Louisa Clein) get exposed by Leyla Harding (Alicia Gallagher)?

It comes after Maya and Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren-Plant) have been sending each other flirty texts, as well as the school boy sending Maya a topless selfie.

In upcoming scenes, Maya’s phone accidentally gets into the wrong hands and causes David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) becoming suspicious.

Confiding in ex-partner Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) about his doubts, both are left convinced she is having an affair.

But will he turn to Leyla for help?

Meanwhile, viewers are convinced Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) has put herself in direct danger.

After storming up to Home Farm to confront Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) on his involvement with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) mysterious disappearance, she threatened him.

But will Graham silence Debbie in the only way he knows how?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
