EastEnders spoilers: Jack Branning FORCES Max Branning and Rainie Cross SPLIT?

EastEnders was back on BBC One this evening and viewers were treated to two episodes instead of one.

Tonight’s episodes were full of drama, yet one storyline which seemed to cool down a bit was Max Branning (played by Jake Wood) and Rainie Cross’ (Tanya Franks).

The couple were in a bad place after Rainie fainted and refused to go and see a doctor.

Max then admitted that he was more worried about baby Abi than Rainie, which didn’t go down well.

There were rumours that Rainie could either be pregnant or have a serious illness.

However, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) managed to make Max see how silly he was being and that Rainie just wanted Abi’s first birthday party to be special.

He even showed him the touching present Rainie had made Abi, and Max then decided to make amends.

He and Rainie eventually went to see the doctor, and it was revealed she was just a little bit anaemic and that she needed rest.

Rainy told Jack this and then said Max was taking good care of her, yet Jack, instead of looking pleased for her, seemed upset.

It could be seen on his face that Jack wanted to be the one looking after Rainie.

Jack and Rainie have a past, and his jealousy of his brother could end up getting the better of him.

There is a possibility that Jack could tell Max all about his and Rainie’s one night stand, and this would ruin the relationship the pair had spent so long trying to build.

Max and Rainie’s relationship started out as a scam, yet the two have come to love one another over time.

Could Jack be about to ruin all of that for the happy couple?

Meanwhile, certain viewers still think that Rainie could turn out to be pregnant.

“Rainie pregnant then, the only plot for women on #Eastenders,” one fan wrote.

Another said: “Rainie is either pregnant or seriously ill #EastEnders.”

A third added: “Guaranteed Rainie is pregnant and its gonna be a who’s the daddy max or jack #EastEnders.”

Fans will be looking forward to finding out how it all ends for Rainie, Max and Jack.

EastEnders continues Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
